Terms of use

Welcome to WEWO, a lyrics presentation and worship display service operated by Holhjem Development AS (“WEWO”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. About the service

WEWO lets users create and manage song and lyric databases, display lyrics and media on screens, synchronize presentations between devices, and use offline-first features with optional cloud sync. It is primarily intended for churches, ministries and worship teams.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally permitted to use online services. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials and all account activity. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. User content and copyright

You retain ownership of lyrics, media and other content you upload. You are solely responsible for necessary rights, licenses and permissions, including any CCLI or equivalent license. WEWO does not provide licensed song lyrics or copyrighted music.

  • Do not infringe copyright or intellectual-property rights.
  • Do not upload unlawful, abusive or malicious content.
  • You grant WEWO a limited license to store, process and transmit content solely to operate the service.

4. Private content and acceptable use

Song databases and uploaded content are private by default. You may not disrupt the service, bypass security, attempt unauthorized access, misuse synchronization or use the service unlawfully. We may remove content or suspend accounts to enforce these terms and protect users or systems.

5. Offline use and availability

Deleted content may remain temporarily cached on disconnected devices until synchronization. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent features, or compatibility with all equipment and platforms.

6. Pricing and third parties

WEWO is currently free. We may later introduce optional paid features, subscriptions, donations or additional storage. The service may rely on AWS, Google Analytics and future app stores, which may impose their own terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holhjem Development AS is not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue or data, interruption, lost presentation material, unauthorized access or compatibility issues. Total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous 12 months, or EUR 100 if nothing was paid.

8. Termination and changes

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, legal requirements or protection of the service. Terms may be updated; material changes may be communicated in the service, on the website or by email.

9. Governing law and contact
